Regulatory and industry standard alignment in gemstones and jewellery supply chains

As part of the TDI Consulting team, Hyacint Consult supported the Coloured Gemstones WorkingGroup (CGWG), composed of selected companies active in the jewellery supply chain in their ambition to enhance responsible business conduct and due diligence.

Alignment with relevant (EU) legislation such as the CSRD and CSDDD, as well as industry standard (RJC COP) has been a focus of the cooperation.

As part of the TDI team and in close cooperation with Member Companies, Hyacint Consult supported:

  • Due diligence Working Group prioritisation towards targeted efforts to enhance efficiency of due diligence and ESG risk management in the sector. 

  • Together with TDI, to support with technical and facilitatory advisory services in the context of the Coloured Gemstones WorkingGroup (CGWG).

  • Support collective action on supplier questionnaires, to enhance supplier engagement on due diligence.
